Biographical Sketch:
Srihari S. Naidu is Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Naidu is an expert in the management of patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, including the minimally-invasive alternative to surgery known as alcohol septal ablation. Dr. Naidu has a strong interest in heart failure and shock management, and Co-Chairs the SCAI-SHOCK course in Boston annually. He is the author of over 100 original scientific manuscripts, and has authored clinical practice guidelines and consensus statements on behalf of the ACC, AHA and SCAI, including Chairing the National Best Practices in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory document. Dr. Naidu is Founder and Past Chair of the Emerging Leader Mentorship (ELM) Program for SCAI. Dr. Naidu is Past Trustee of SCAI and a Trustee of Brown University.
