Biographical Sketch: Dr. Tarek Helmy is a Professor of Cardiology at Saint Louis School of Medicine, the Director of the J. Gerard Mudd cardiac catheterization laboratory, and Director of the Fellowship Program. He completed his interventional fellowship from New England Medical Center, Tufts University. He was on faculty at Emory University School of Medicine, then at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His interests are complex coronary intervention, CTO, and structural heart disease. His research interest involves coronary physiology.
