Biographical Sketch: Ms. Silver works as an Advanced Practice Nurse in cardiology at NorthShore University HealthSystems, Evanston Hospital, Evanston Illinois. She is also adjunct faculty at the Graduate College of Nursing at Rush University in Chicago.. She earned a BSN from Valparaiso University in Indiana, and Masters in Nursing at University of Illinois at Chicago. She works with a team of Nurse Practitioners managing care and treatment of patients undergoing interventional cardiac procedures including coronary stent, TAVR, Mitra Clip, clinical trials, PTMC, ASD/ PFO working with patients and families to ensure safe and effective care and treatment of cardiac issues and addressing risk factors to promote health.
Active with SCAI since 1997; Editorial Board member of SCAI SecondsCount.org patient education web site 2010-2018 and Associate Editor in Chief 2015-2018. Presenter at SCAI CV Professionals sessions.
