Biographical Sketch:
Eugen Ivan, MD is an Interventional Cardiologist at Heart and Vascular Center and Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Oklahoma. Dr. Ivan has served as the Director of the Peripheral Vascular Interventional Program at the University of Utah until 2010. He is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist in active, full-time clinical practice. Dr. Ivan has expertise in complex coronary interventions (PCI), peripheral vascular interventions, endovascular procedures for PAD and aortic aneurysms (AAA), and antiplatelet, antithrombotic and anticoagulant medications. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and his Internal Medicine Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He has co-authored a chapter on acute coronary syndromes and mechanical circulatory support in the "Illustrated Textbook of Cardiology". He is currently a peer-reviewer for "Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions"(CCI). He was invited faculty to lecture at the prestigious Leipzig Interventional Course (LINC) in Leipzig, Germany.
