Biographical Sketch: Danny Dvir, M.D., is a cardiologist with the Cardiac Clinic & Services at UW Medical Center.
Dr. Dvir is internationally recognized as an expert in evaluating and treating prosthetic heart valves, including valve-in-valve therapy. He strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. Dr. Dvir earned his M.D. at Sackler School of Medicine in New York City. His clinical interests include cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, structural heart interventions, transcatheter aortic valve replacement and treatment of failed prosthetic heart valves. He has extensive experience in clinical research and lab testing of heart valves, having led numerous international research collaborations. His main research focus is transcatheter valve implantation and valve-in-valve therapy.
