Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Berzingi is a graduate of the University of Baghdad, college of Medicine 1988. He has completed his internal medicine training at the University of Salahadin in Erbil, Iraq and Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly, Maryland. After completing a general cardiology training at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV and an interventional cardiology training at the Virginia Commonwealth University- Medical college of Virginia in Richmond VA, he accepted a faculty position at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV in 2012. Currently, he is a faculty at the general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship programs at the West Virginia University’s Heart and Vascular institute in Morgantown, WV. He has served on the ABIM’s standard setting committee for the recertification exam of interventional cardiology, member of the international committee of SCAI, published author in peer reviewed journals and an investigator in the area of high risk PCI.
