Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Larry J. Díaz-Sandoval is an Interventional Cardiologist in Grand Rapids, MI. He is a Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University and the Chair of Cardiovascular Research, Director of Endovascular Research & Interventions, and Director of the Vascular & Endovascular Medicine Fellowship Program at Metro Health-University of Michigan Health. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowships at Tufts University School of Medicine and his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He is the author or coauthor of more than 100 publications He is considered a Key Opinion Leader in CLI. He is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the multi-specialty Latinamerican academic group: HENDOLAT. His clinical and research interests include: 1) Diagnosis, management, and innovations in CLI. 2) Use of Ultrasound to optimize access, guide peripheral interventions. 3) Development of disruptive techniques and devices to treat CLI patients.
