Biographical Sketch: John W. Moore, MD, MPH, FACC, FSCAI is the Director of Cardiology at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego and the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics of the UC San Diego School of Medicine. He is a Distinguished Graduate of the United States Military Academy and of Harvard Medical School. He trained in Pediatric Cardiology at Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor School of Medicine under Dr. Chuck Mullins. He has previously served as Chair of the Executive Committee for the Section on Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, American Academy of Pediatrics and as Chair of the Research and Publications Committee of the IMPACT Registry of the NCDR. He has been active in the development of new devices and techniques in interventional pediatric cardiology and in training interventional pediatric cardiologists for over 30 years.
