Biographical Sketch: Robert W. Yeh, MD MSc MBA is Director of the Richard A. and Susan F. Smith Center for Outcomes Research in Cardiology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Yeh is a practicing interventional cardiologist, specializing in complex coronary intervention, and is Associate Chief of Interventional Cardiology at BIDMC.
Dr. Yeh’s research focuses on understanding and improving the value of novel cardiovascular devices and therapies, studying the effects of health policy interventions on cardiovascular practice and outcomes, and using novel sources of data to better predict patient and procedural risk. His work has been funded by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute and the American Heart Association, and has been published in journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA and the Lancet.
