Biographical Sketch:
Matthew D. Saybolt, MD FACC is an interventional cardiologist from Monmouth Cardiology Associates and co-director of the Structural Heart Disease Program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center-Hackensack Meridian Health. He completed residency and fellowships at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he served as chief internal medicine resident and chief cardiology fellow. Dr. Saybolt specializes in structural heart disease interventions including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), closure of patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defect, transcatheter valve in valve therapy, paravalvular leak closure, Mitraclip, and alcohol septal ablation.. His research interests include developing intravascular imaging tools for risk stratification and PCI guidance. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also board certified in Adult Echocardiography.
