Biographical Sketch: Tejas Patel MD, DM, FACC, FESC, FSCAI is an internationally acclaimed interventional cardiologist, innovator, researcher and clinician well-known for
his ground breaking work in coronary interventions particularly in the field of transradial technique. He has been instrumental in assisting many countries in his pursuit to propagate his teachings globally. He has written three books (1) “Patel’s Atlas of Transradial Intervention: The Basics” & (2) “Patel’s Atlas of Transradial Intervention: The Basics & Beyond” which have been accepted as a monogram / textbook on the subject of Transradial Technique in the world. This 200 page monogram has been published from U.S.A. & (3) Patel’s Atlas of Complications of Coronary Interventions: Plan-B, published from U.S.A. He conferred with Padma Shri Award from Hon. President of India in year 2015 for his distinguished service in Medicine (cardiology), He has pioneered the first Robotic-assisted PCI program outside USA.
