Biographical Sketch: Wayne Batchelor, M.D., M.H.S., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I. currently serves as the Director of Interventional Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Research/Innovation and Associate Director of the INOVA Heart and Vascular Institute in Northern Virginia. He has particular interest and expertise in structural heart disease, high risk PCI, radial artery access PCI and clinical trials in interventional cardiology. Dr. Batchelor has published over 75 peer-reviewed original abstracts/manuscripts and book chapters and has given numerous invited lectures nationally and internationally. He has assumed numerous leadership roles in interventional cardiology at the local and national level.
