Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Ramesh Daggubati is the Associate Chief of Cardiology and Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Director of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program at NYU Winthrop Hospital. Prior to joining Winthrop, he was the interim Chief of Cardiology and Clinical Professor at Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University. He is skilled in all structural heart and complex coronary interventions. He performs transradial interventions and has proctored many physicians across the country and world. He has developed algorithms for management of cardiogenic shock that is used at multiple institutions around the country. He was the principal investigator of the initial transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) trials and continues to participate in multiple clinical trials. He has published in multiple academic journals and lectures nationally and internationally.
