Biographical Sketch: Peter A. Soukas, MD is the Director of Vascular Medicine and the Interventional Vascular Laboratories at The Miriam and Rhode Island Hospitals and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Brown Medical School.He is also the Director of the Brown Vascular & Endovascular Medicine Fellowship Program, training the next generation of cardiovascular medicine specialists.
Dr. Soukas’ clinical research interests include carotid stenting, intravascular lithotripsy, femoropopliteal stent-grafts, Critical limb ischemia, and the interventional treatment of both arterial and venous peripheral vascular disease. He has been a site principal investigator on over 70 clinical trials, including 24 carotid trials, and is the global PI for the RELINE MAX study.
