Biographical Sketch: Dr. Qureshi is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The Baylor College of Medicine and Clinical Director, Interventional Cardiology, The CE Mullins Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Texas Children’s Hospital.
He graduated from The Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his pediatric residency at SUNY Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse New York and pediatric cardiology training at The Cleveland Clinic. He completed his Interventional Cardiology training at Boston Children’s Hospital before returning to The Cleveland Clinic, where he was as an interventional cardiologist in the Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease and the Heart and Vascular Institute. At The Cleveland Clinic, he also served as the Quality Officer of the Congenital Heart Center and Co- Director of The Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters in the field of pediatric and congenital interventional cardiology, in addition to speaking at national/ international conferences.
