Biographical Sketch: Kwan S Lee MD FACC FSCAI completed his residency and cardiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic Arizona, followed by interventional cardiology at Emory. He has been a faculty member with the Sarver Heart Center at the University of Arizona in Tucson since 2009 and is currently an Associate Professor, Associate Program Director and Cardiovascular Service Line Medical Director. He is Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab, a prior Chief-of-Staff and Chair of Credentials of Banner University Medical Center South Campus. He is currently the Governor of the American College of Cardiology Arizona Chapter and was the recipient of the Arizona ACC Future Leader award 2017.
His research interests are centered around simulation in Cardiovascular Education. He is co-director of the only state-wide cardiology fellow simulation training program in the country. Tr. He has been regular faculty at both national and international cardiology meetings, speaking on issues in interventional cardiology.
