Biographical Sketch: Nadia Sutton, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Lecturer in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Section of Interventional Cardiology at the University of Michigan. At the University of Michigan, Dr. Sutton is involved in teaching undergraduates, medical students, residents, general cardiology fellows, and interventional cardiology fellows. Dr. Sutton’s clinical interest is in percutaneous treatment of coronary artery disease, with a special interest in treating older adults (geriatric cardiology). Dr. Sutton is a physician-scientist who performs translational research, seeking to answer clinical questions using laboratory based techniques. Her research interest is in vascular biology, focusing on how the process of aging accelerates vascular calcification.
