Biographical Sketch:
Andrew J.P. Klein, M.D., FACC, FSCAI, is board-certified in endovascular medicine, vascular medicine, interventional cardiology, cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine. Dr. Klein is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention(FSCAI). An expert in complex coronary and peripheral intervention, he is a member of several SCAI committees and was selected to the 2017-2019 class of Emerging Leaders in Medicine (ELM) Fellowship program offered through SCAI. He is an expert in radial cardiac catheterization and has helped Piedmont become a radial first program. Dr. Klein attends on the cardiology critical care service and is a member of the acute pulmonary embolism (PERT) as well as ECMO (extra-corporeal membranous oxygenation) teams at Piedmont Atlanta. Dr. Klein has published over 50 peer reviewed articles and written several book chapters on complex coronary and peripheral intervention and is recognized as a national expert in these arenas
