Biographical Sketch: Christina Economides, MD, MM, FSCAI, is a board certified Interventional Cardiologist practicing at Good Samaritan Hospital in downtown Los Angeles. She is part of a semi-private group called Los Angeles Cardiology Associates.
She is the director of the STEMI Receiving Center, the Women's Cardiovascular Health Program, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program and co-director of the Transradial Cardiac Catheterization Program at Good Samaritan. She is also the Associate Program Director of the Harbor UCLA Medical Center/Good Samaritan Hospital Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program.
Dr. Economides is also the director of a unique, CME-approved, annual symposium called Contemporary Management of Cardiovascular Disease in Women, now in its 4th year.
She has a very busy practice, is engaged as a teaching faculty, and thoroughly enjoys being in the lab doing procedures, including coronary, structural heart, peripheral and venous.
